Binder placeholders
Print proxies for the cards you’re missing
Empty pockets nag at you. Fill them with perfectly-sized placeholder cards while you hunt the real ones — so your binder reads as a complete set, with the gaps marked, not blank.
Set Hunter already knows the full masterset for your Pokémon, so it pre-ticks exactly the cards you don’t own and hands you a print-ready A4 PDF — free, no sign-up to print.
How it works
- 01
Search a Pokémon
Type a name and get its complete masterset — every English set, variant and promo, in order.
- 02
Mark what you own
Tick the cards you have. Everything else is automatically treated as a gap to fill.
- 03
Print the gaps
Hit Print proxies in any binder. The sheet comes pre-ticked to your missing cards at exact 63×88mm with dashed cut guides — adjust if you like, then download the A4 PDF.
Tied to your collection, not a generic printout
Most placeholder tools dump an entire set on you and leave you to work out what you still need. Set Hunter is a real masterset tracker first — so it prints the gaps in your collection, not the set. Mark a card as owned and it disappears from the sheet. The result is a binder that shows your progress: real cards in their pockets, clean placeholders marking the hunt that’s left.

Common questions
- What are Pokémon binder placeholders?
- Placeholders (sometimes called proxies) are card-sized prints that fill the empty pockets in your binder while you hunt the real cards. They show the card's art and name so your binder reads as a complete set at a glance, with the gaps clearly marked as still-needed rather than just blank.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Generating and printing placeholders on Set Hunter is completely free, with no sign-up required to print. Track your collection (also free) and the sheet will pre-tick exactly the cards you're missing.
- Will they fit my binder pockets and penny sleeves?
- Yes. The PDF lays cards out at the exact trading-card size of 63×88mm with dashed cut guides, so once trimmed they slot straight into standard binder pages and penny sleeves alongside your real cards.
- Can I print only the cards I'm missing?
- That's the whole point. Set Hunter knows your full masterset for a Pokémon and pre-selects every card you don't own yet. You can adjust the selection before you print — but by default you only print the gaps.
- Are these for playing or selling?
- No. These are binder fillers for personal collection display only. They are not legal for tournament or competitive play, and must never be sold or passed off as genuine cards.
