The short version
One cookie, to keep you signed in. A few settings saved in your own browser so the site remembers how you like your binder. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and that's why there's no cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to.
The cookie
- Sign-in session (name starts sb-): set when you sign in, so you stay signed in between pages and visits. Removed when you sign out. Without it, binders can't be yours.
Settings kept in your browser
These aren't cookies and never leave your device. They're notes the site keeps in your browser's own storage so it doesn't have to ask again:
- Your binder layout (3×3 or 4×4) and, if you're signed out, your promo and ordering choices.
- Your collection, if you use the site without an account — it lives only in that browser until you sign up.
- Which link brought you here, kept for seven days, so we can tell which of our posts actually send people to the site. It's a word like "instagram", not anything about you.
Clearing your browser's site data wipes all of these.
What we deliberately don't do
- No advertising or retargeting pixels are active on the site.
- Page-view counting is done without cookies and without identifying you.
- Card images are loaded from our data provider's image servers; they serve a picture and set nothing.
If that ever changes — say we test an ad on social media that needs a pixel — this page will say so and you'll be asked first.
